About the EVMB
The Eastview High School Marching Band is a “state of the art” competitive marching band. It explores the latest trends in outdoor musical and visual performance and is the largest and most dynamic ensemble offered by the Eastview Band Program. Every year 150+ students from grades 9-12 choose to join the ensemble and work together to create a collaborative team, unified to achieve a remarkable level of artistry and excellence.
Marching Band is a voluntary co-curricular offering for band students at Eastview. Students who wish to join must register for Marching Band and attend rehearsals during the school day. Students must also attend summer rehearsals, band camp, evening rehearsals during the school year and all scheduled performances. Membership is open to incoming 9th grade students as well as returning sophomores, juniors and seniors. Woodwind, Brass and Percussion performers must be registered for a complete year of band ensembles. Color Guard members may register for Marching Band as a single course, which will meet arts graduation requirements.

The Eastview Marching Band performs at halftime of all home varsity football games. The EVMB also performs at several competitive contests per season, as well as various community support appearances including Freshman Orientation.
